Rama IX Super Tower, the landmark of G Land’s Grand Rama 9 mixed use development, will offer 90,000 sq meters of office space and a 260-room, six-star luxury hotel, a convention center and retail stores.

Other features of the new super tower will include an observation deck for tourists and a rooftop garden on one of the lower tiers. The complex will also be directly connected to the MRT.

Once completed, the 625-meter super tower will surpass the Baiyok II Tower, currently Thailand’s tallest building which tops out at 328.4 meters. It will also be the tallest tower in the Asean region, surpassing Malaysia’s 375-meter Petronas twin towers. In addition to its record-breaking height, the tower is also aiming for platinum-level LEEDS certification from the US Green Building Council, making it a new landmark for Bangkok and Southeast Asia.
